HRK Foundation

is a small family foundation with a strong commitment to general operating support and long-term relationships with community partners. The Board currently awards competitive funding in three program areas:

Community Building
HRK Foundation supports community building efforts which increase adequate and affordable housing, encourage responsible land use, promote conservation and preservation of community resources and advance the work of neighbors who reach across their differences for the common good.

The Arts
HRK Foundation’s support of the Arts consists primarily of long-term partnerships with local organizations that enrich the cultural infrastructure of the Twin Cities.

Health
HRK funds programs that strengthen families and promote healthy lives for children as well as programs that provide services for people affected by HIV/AIDS.

The HRK Foundation Board is not accepting unsolicited requests for the Spring 2012 grant round.
