HRK Foundation has a commitment to long-term relationships with community partners and accepts only a limited number of new, capital, or project requests in each calendar year. Prior to submitting a proposal, please call or e-mail the Foundation Director, Kathleen Fluegel, to discuss your request.

Historically, the Foundation's geographic service area has included the Twin Cities Metro Area, the St. Croix Valley, and Ashland and Bayfield counties in Wisconsin. In evaluating new requests, the Board's primary focus is St. Paul.

As a small foundation with limited funds, the Board tries to clearly identify a focus for each grant round, as only a limited number of new requests can be considered at each meeting.
